The legendary Black Widow in a brand new automotive series from COBI! A technically advanced set in a large scale model (1:12) and 38 cm long, the Opel Rekord C sports car is released under the original license of the Opel brand. The set was designed with 2,300 elements. The model is also distinguished by the use of a large number of only high-quality prints! We completely gave up on stickers. New elements have been designed especially for the needs of such large sets, providing additional functionalities: movable steering wheel, which turn the wheels, hinges for opening doors, body and trim elements. A brick-built engine is located under the working hood. Numerous details such as door handles, lights and clocks create a coherent whole with the perfectly reproduced characteristic shape of this vehicle. The race number 201 is printed on the car body. The model is perfect for collectors and lovers of classic cars. Clear and intuitive instructions leading through the steps and blocks packed in numbered bags make the construction process run smooth and easy. Opel is a German manufacturer of passenger cars, sports cars and vans, which, thanks to many successful models, have made a permanent mark in the history of the automotive industry. A breakthrough car for Opel, which in the mid-range segment for the first time exceeded one million units produced, was the REKORD. The most famous Opel Rekord "Schwarze Witwe" was made in secret! As part of the General Motors concern, Opel was banned from racing. Nevertheless, factory workers prepared a sports version of the Rekord with a 180 HP engine. Thanks to the yellow appliques on black paint, it was nicknamed the "Race Taxi" and "Black Widow". The car became a sensation and participated in spectacular races. As a result of bans from the GM management, the car was taken to Austria, where all traces of it were lost.
