Product Description

The Velociraptor was a small dinosaur that lived in China and Mongolia about 65 to 90 million years ago in the Upper Cretaceous period. He was a maneuverable, two-legged predator dinosaur who jumped at his prey and killed with his big toe. His name means fast predator. Very likely the Velociraptor had feathers at least on the arms and tail. This means he could not fly, but much better maintain the balance during the race. Other typical features include its long and curved snout as well as the so-called sickle claw on the second toe of the hind leg. Presumably it was used in hunting, but could also have served for climbing. The mini toy figure from Bullyland is designed with great detail, approx. 4.5 cm high and 10 cm long.
